This month the Bouncin' Bus was transformed into Arendelle! The students loved playing in the snow blizzard, stepping over the trolls on the balance beam, hiking the cliffs with Anna and Kristoff, rolling backwards with their Sven antlers, building an Olaf snowman, so much more!
The kids loved practicing their Spidey poses on the high bar. On the zip line, they screamed "3-2-1 BLAST OFF!" then crashed into the purple incline mat and kicked the bad guy with their feet. It was also really fun to swing between the tall buildings on the monkey bars and then get stuck in the gigantic spider web (cargo net) hanging from the bus ceiling. We also learned what Super Foods are (the color green, of course!) and how green foods benefit our bodies.
Lots of fun activities with this month's theme for class! Here we are with reindeer antlers getting ready to do a backward roll (roll like a snowball) down the purple incline mat!
Classes will resume in September for the 2016-17 school year. Please look for information at your child's school or daycare in August. Thanks and have a great summer off!
Miss Maria and the Bouncin' Bus staff
Here we are zip lining into the ball pit... backwards! Remember to have your child wear his or her Bouncin' Bus t-shirt backwards next week!
There are so many fun stations with our new, Back to School lesson plan. For our nutrition lesson, the students are learning why it is important to stay hydrated throughout the day, and how much water they should drink daily in order to stay healthy.
This week on the Bouncin' Bus, we are learning back hip pullovers around the horizontal bar. We are asking the students to perch like a parrot when they are finished pulling their bodies up and around the horizontal bar. The students are also practicing kick up to handstand from surfer stance (a.k.a. lunge position) on the floor. For our nutrition lesson, the children are learning about their daily vitamins and how important they are to eat on a daily basis.
